A Child Set For the Fall & Rising

The Birth of Child Jesus has been the beginning of fall of all powers on self-centeredness brought by avarice that equivocate many minds because of the enticement of the eyes. Everyone's intelligence of arrogance has been stirred into a great tumult because almost everyone does not want to get out from the pleasure of sin.

Meanwhile, the simple hearts & minds after discernment of the Glad Tidings proclaimed to the crowds have fall on their knees to recognize shortcomings & infidelity hoping that this is the end of the captivity from confusion & deception that material possession, sexual pleasure, power of revenge have been delighting one's mind.

This made us to realize that the Baby wrapped in an unglamorous swaddling clothes shall have been the Messiah. People had been expecting it to be magnificent splendid w/ the most expensive welcoming. But the Way God presented it was not even half of the expectation but the least most.

God's way of loving us is super mysterious w/c only means that His Ways are not our ways, our thoughts not His Thoughts because our ways demand & complain rather than obey; our thoughts complicate perspective through excessive wants rather to be content on most excellent needs that will bring us into intimacy w/ God.

The Baby Jesus as the Image of humility & simplicity gives us the picture on how should the Kingdom of God reigns in our hearts. Being the Son of God, He concretized His message by leading an example on how His long lost creation has to commune w/ God & its neighbors, on how to conquer the many complexities of the world that snatches one's simple perspective, on how to cope up indifferent characters w/ maintained composure of love, compassion & mercy. All these, Jesus have conquered victoriously through simplicity of heart that could compassionately & gently understand & accept not for the personal benefit but for the benefit of the entirety. Jesus led by example. Everyone of us is challenged to multiply what He has been perfectly modeled; not to put down anyone but to bring everyone in the Kingdom of God.

Luke 2:34-35 And Simeon blessed them & said to Mary His mother, "Behold, this child is destined for the fall & rise of many in Israel, & to be a sign that will be contradicted (and you yourself a sword will pierce) so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.
