The Good News

Indeed, life is beautiful!

Of course, everyone will react, "Are you out of your mind? The world is almost to collapse not only because of the financial crises but the earth itself which is in danger to collapse because of global warming. And here you are shouting, 'Life is beautiful'!

What can we do? There are only two choices in this world, to enjoy & not to enjoy! If I'll frown in the middle of the crisis, the more that I would just add salt to the wounds. Whereas if I'll enjoy despite the turbulent time brought by different crises, the more that I could luxuriously, confidently and cheerfully say, "You're right Lord! You are really the BOSS not the world!"

Let's be serious. Everyone is really affected because of the global threat on economy. What will happen to the marginalized who don't even own a land to be an alternative means as crop of survival?

What will happen to these institutions that are solely dependent on donations from the government and private sectors?

According to the source, 25,000 people die in the world everyday due to hunger and disease. Does it mean that it will climb higher if the crises remain? If this global crisis remains unresolved, what will happen to the 400 million malnourished children catered by the United Nations World Food Program (UN WFP)?

The planning, decision-making and action have been entrusted to us by God. This is the time of giving what we've got, the time of sharing the abundance that has been put into our stewardship, the time to sacrifice, the time to be united in heart, in mind, and in soul.

Whatever happens because of insufficiency that is not met because of some that are not responsive, let us claim God's works of miracle and mercy. Jesus was the Good News in the past. Jesus shall be the GOOD NEWS not only today but up to the time that we make a perfect world with a perfect heart, and mind of obedience and loyalty.

Luke 2:11-14 For today in the city of David a Savior has born for you who is Messiah. And this will be a sign for you; you will find an infant wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger." And suddenly there was a multitude of the heavenly host with the angel, praising God and saying, Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to those on whom has favor rests.
