The God of Silence

Less talk, less mistakes! The more we match one's anger w/ harsh violent words, the more we create a furious fight.

Man's weakpoint is nagging, shouting, badmouthing over one's simple mistake or major offense w/c arouse one's anger all the more.

It's not easy to control emotion when somebody offended you especially when you are tired or in a bad mood. The more we flare up when others continue to argue.

Now we can make negative attitude like maƱana habit turning it into positive. In our culture,we have this weakpoint postponing works that can be actually done today. But this time it's not the job that we shall have been postponed but our emotion. This is what I've learned from Bro. Rene Tumang. That every time we encounter irritations, we must postpone it endlessly w/c means we have to seal our lips.

In the process, using this technique could have inconsistence because of the tendency to forget because every attempt always undergoes a trial & error until we perfect the technique.

You know what's impressive about our Lord Jesus Christ is that He kept silent during His entire persecution. When He was presented to the high priest Caiaphas, He was accused & humiliated but he remained silent. (Matthew 26:63)

Again Jesus maintained His composure when He was questioned by Pilate (Matthew 27:14). The soldiers stripped off His clothes, weaved crown of thorns on His head, mocked Him, spat, & struck His head, forced Him to drink wine mixed w/ gall, reviled Him (Matthew 27:27-44) but never did He utter bitterness against anyone. In fact, even up to the point of struggling for His life, He asked the Father for mercy when he said, "Father, forgive them, they know not what they do." (Luke 23:34)

If we'll try to look at it in every angle, silence does no harm, division, but rather harmonizes & restores (Luke 23:48)

2 Timothy 2:24-26 A slave of the Lord should not quarrel, but should be gentle w/ everyone, able to teach, tolerant, correcting opponents w/ kindness. It may be that God grant them repentance that leads to knowledge of the truth, & that they may return to their senses out of the devil's snare where they are entrapped by him, for his will.

James 1:19 Know this, my dear brothers, everyone should be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath, for the wrath of a man, does not accomplish the righteousness of God.
