Praises Amidst Crisis

Today, economic analysts predict that the world's economy will have been terribly worsening in four years time. Is this new? No! Our ancestors had been going through the same misfortune. What's the root? The same with what we are now. Ingratitude. Everyone is intelligent on his own estimation. Everyone sets aside God & follow own desires because everyone has been hungering for personal praises through power & wealth. Everyone wants to be god.

Nevertheless, our ancestors had recovered from the misery. What did they do? They humbled themselves before God. They returned to God, obeyed God.

Obeying God is praising God. If our ancestors have ultimately regained economy, then, we as their descendants shall also win what we have lost. We must dump our obsessions for personal praises through selfish pleasure & let our obedience to God be our communal praises amidst the crisis. We must be thankful & praise God because we're still alive. Our lives shall be the fulfillment of our hopeful chances. Our chances shall direct us to reform. Our reforms will define our destiny.

Luke 1:46-55 My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord. My spirit rejoices in God my Savior. For He has looked upon His handmaid's lowliness; behold, from now on will all ages call me blessed. The Mighty One has done great things for me, & holy is His name. He has shown might w/ His arm, dispersed the arrogant of mind & heart. He has thrown down the rulers from their thrones but lifted up the lowly. The hungry he has filled w/ good things, the rich He has sent away empty. He has helped Israel His servant, remembering His mercy, according to His promise to our fathers, to Abraham & to His descendants forever.
