When you apply for a job, you will hear a stereotype questions that revolve in all prospective employer. One of w/c is, "What shall be your biggest achievement five years from now?" We can hear this question over & over again but it's seldom that we could hear an offertory question, "If you're given the chance to be hired, how can we help you better to grow together in this company?"
The reason why I mentioned this is because the employer-employee relationship talk about a neighbor relationship w/c is The Royal Law. Since Jesus says, "Love your neighbor as you love yourself" this means that we should have been hearing something that is intimate w/c talks about both the progress of the employee & the employer.
Following Jesus is not just all about being conscientious on The 10 Commandments. Everyone may have been loyal in these commandments but this can be incomplete w/o being concerned to its neighbor. I'm not saying that these companies should have sold their properties to give it to its employees (w/c is most appreciative if they can) but it would have been better if they are conscientious enough that these employees spent 90% of their time in their work not just simply having money but a livelihood w/c could survive not only a 3-square meal but for the education, clothing & shelter as well. Many people labor for eight hours & even more w/c is beyond what they could for the family but only few have their own homes. Whereas these employers enjoy a luxurious living in a vacation houses aside from the executive house owned in an exclusive village.
Being good is not all about obeying The 10 Commandments & having a comfortable living but being creative on taking care of the needs of others' insufficiency to be filled up; those who are hunger of justice w/c caused them to be unproductive, those who are in jail who are longing for warmth of love because of abandonment of their family, the street children who try to escape poverty & hunger through inhalation of harmful vapor.
Fulfillment of one’s life is dependent on loving God & His word. God says, "Love your neighbor as yourself; this is His Word.
James 2:8 However if you fulfill the royal law according to the scripture, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself, you are doing well."
Romans 13:8-10 Owe nothing to anyone, except to love one another, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. The commandments, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not kill, you shall not steal, you shall not covet, & whatever other commandments there may be, are summed up in this saying namely, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself. Love does no evil to the neighbo; hence love is the fulfillment of the law.”
