This is not about judging the soldiers in the country. This all about an eye-opener to each everyone in the military forces. Just like the ordinary citizens who have committed sin for long time, they shall have been entrapped or deceived by the situation for a longtime. Others know the truth but their hearts are not ready yet to accept the truth because of fear on something, difficulty to leave the pleasures that they could get from the job.
Matthew 10:28 And do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather be afraid of the one who can destroy both the soul & body in Gehenna.
Hebrew 11:24-25 By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh's daughter; he chose to be ill-treated along with the people of God rather than enjoy the fleeting pleasure of sin.
Military leaders shall have been scandalized on many corruptions, killings, salvaging, syndicate, rob out case for long years. Can we blame them? No! Because like us who have gone through many harsh and painful experiences that made us a heart of stone, they will have been treated harshly and painfully as well while during their formation years up to now.
But now is the time to stop, think, listen, absorb, decide and recover from all the misgivings and be healed from all the brokenness. It may be hard because of its virus that overshadows the entire community, but through love and by grace of God, this can be possible.
Matthew 27:27-31 Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus inside the praetorium and gather the whole cohort around Him. They stripped off His clothes and threw a scarlet military cloaks about Him. Weaving a crown out of thorns, they placed it on His head, and a reed in His right hand. And kneeling before Him, they mocked Him, saying,"Hail, the King of the Jews!." They spat upon Him and took the reed and kept striking Him on the head. And when they had mocked Him, they stripped Him of the cloak, dressed Him in His own clothes, and led Him off to crucify Him.
Romans 13:1-7 Let every person be subordinate to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God., & those that exist have been established by God. Therefore, whoever resists authority opposes what God has appointed, & those who oppose it will bring judgment upon themselves. For rulers are not a cause of fear to good conduct but to evil. Do you wish to have no fear of authority? Then do what is good you will receive approval from it, for it is a servant of God for your good. But if you do evil, be afraid, for it does not bear the sword without purpose; it is the servant of God to inflict wrath on the evildoer. Therefore, it is necessary to be subject not only because of the wrath but also because of conscience. This is why you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, devoting themselves to this very thing. Pay to all their dues, taxes to whom taxes are due, toll to whom toll is due, respect to whom respect is due, honor to whom honor is due.
