Young men who entered married life often associate their foolishness & infidelity to the early marriage. It is not surprising either if you could find parents who give approval to their children to enjoy singlehood in this manner believing that this is the way towards a behaved husband in the future.
Hello! Does it mean that when you womanize & drink alcohol a lot during your teenage days guarantee a healthy lifestyle when you settle down? Do not be deceived by such human wisdom! My goodness! Once you have the 20/20 vision & with all the other senses intact, the possibility of falling into the foolishness of sins is not impossible. Why? Simply because it's a free choice!
Matthew 6:22 The lamp of the body is the eye. If your eye is sound, your whole body will be filled w/ light; but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be in darkness. And if the light in you is darkness, how great will the darkness be.
Primarily, what you see, hear, feel and touch are always the governing factor w/c influences one's decision whether you are a teenager or an adult. If you see a curve of an alluring lady, it's either you become stoker or simply an admirer. If you're given the freedom to touch woman's sensuality, it's either you thank the opportunity or leave the temptation. As you hear the latest on secret places of sexual escapades, it's either you search the prospect or ignore the desire. When you feel the urge to be somebody else who's more captivating than your partner, it's either you obey or deny the thirst.
My dear brethren, holiness and foolishness of sins are both choices not exclusive to any group whether you are young or adult but a perpetual heritage that push us into our limits from all our thoughts, plans, decisions & actions that we've made. The limit of foolishness of sins is misery. The limit of holiness is boundless happiness and joy.
Matthew 13:23 But the seed sown in rich soil is the one who hears the Word and understands it, who indeed bear fruit and yields a a hundred or sixty or thirtyfold.
Your plan and decision may be altered in the soonest possible time before the action takes place because of the intervention of conscience which is the medium of the Holy Spirit. The challenge is always NOW. Infidelity and disloyalty can be both a lifetime lifestyle. It is not true that when you had been used to infidelity, chances that you are behave in the future. As I've said, lust never stops while your physical faculties are well-coordinated. TV news and print media provide us a proof through their solicited reports like grandfathers' issues on incest, rape, molestation; and we ourselves know oldies who are habitual on moonlighting.
1 Corinthian 3:18 Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you considers himself wise in the age, let him become a fool so as to become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in the eyes of God, for it is written: "He catches the wise in their own ruses," & again: "The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain."
Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the clean of heart, for they will see God.
