Jesus' Word Remains Straight Amidst Counterfeit Global Warming

" Why was the ointment not sold for three hundred denarii and give to the poor" (John 12:1-11)

"The United Nation's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has acted as the main scaremonger for the global warming lobby that led to the Kyoto Protocol( an international treaty that sets binding obligations on industrialized countries to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases). Fatally, the IPCC is a political, not scientific, body.   Climate has always changed, and it always will.  Contrary to IPCC belief, warming of more than 20 C change would be well within previous natural bounds. Ecosystems have been adapting to such changes since time immemorial. Mankind can and does adapt to all climate extremes. Carbon dioxide is a minor greenhouse gas, responsible for ~26% (80 C) of the total greenhouse effect (330C), of which in turn at most 25% (~20C) can be attributed to carbon dioxide contributed by human activity. Water vapor, contributing at least 70% of the effect, is by far the most important atmospheric greenhouse gas."

Temperature increases have hobbled behind the increase of CO2 in the atmosphere for 800 years; since 1998, the earth has cooled down rather than warm up.

 "The United Nation should not be allowed to make money-wasting measures compulsory at the climate summit, under the pretext of a climate disaster. It is fine to save energy and research alternative fuels, but pumping so much money into it is nonsense."  Global warming is fraud. Geologists disclose that climate change is part of natural fluctuation.

In the Gospel, Judas Iscariot questioned Mary's expression of extravagant love when the latter wasted a pound of costly ointment, not because he cared for the poor but he is a thief.  Conversely, any aspect of our concern for the global interest whether it is financial, technological or environmental could be truly beneficial if God's love remains in our hearts, love that sincerely looks forward to a beautiful life than multiplication of complexity, love that genuinely addresses insufficiency than turning stewardship of wealth into bankruptcy, love that truly purifies imperfections than adding up burden to an imperfect world.

Lord, Jesus, we earnestly ask for Your mercy to constantly purify our hearts so we could truly optimize global creativity, productivity and reliability. Amen!
