Should you
want to feel better, have more energy and perhaps even live longer, look no further
but working out. The benefits of exercise are for everybody regardless of age,
sex or physical ability including:
1). Work-out
controls weight
The more intense the activity, the more calories one burns. If
actual workout can’t be done, get more active throughout the day in simple ways
like taking the stairs instead of the elevator or speed up household routines.
2).
Work-out fights health conditions and diseases
Regardless
of current weight, being active increases high-density lipoprotein (HDL), or
"good," cholesterol and decreases unhealthy triglycerides. This
one-two punch keeps blood flowing smoothly, which decreases risk of cardiovascular
diseases. As a matter of fact, regular physical activity prevents or manages a
wide range of health problems and concerns, including stroke, metabolic
syndrome, type 2 diabetes, depression, particular types of cancer, arthritis
and falls.
3). Work-out
progresses frame of mind
A workout
at the gym or an invigorating 30-minute walk can help. Physical activity
stimulates various brain chemicals that may leave feeling happier and more
relaxed, feel better about appearance and oneself when exercising regularly,
which can boost confidence and perk up self-esteem.
4). Work-out
improves vigor
Consistent
physical activity improves muscle strength and boost endurance. Exercise and
physical activity deliver oxygen and nutrients to the tissues and help cardiovascular
system work more efficiently. When heart and lungs work more efficiently, more
energy to go about daily chores are gained.
5). Work-out
progresses better sleep
Regular
physical activity help to fall asleep faster and deepen sleep. Just don't work
out too close to bedtime, or you may be too revitalized to nod off.
6). Work-out
puts the spur back into one’s sex life (for married couple)
Regular physical
activity can leave feeling boosted and looking better, which may have a
positive effect on sex life. Likewise, it can lead to improved arousal for
women. On the other hand, men who exercise regularly are less likely to have
problems with erectile dysfunction than those who don't work-out.
7). Work-out
can be fun
It
provides a chance to unwind, enjoy the outdoors or simply engage in activities
turning anyone to be happy. Likewise, it can also aid in connecting with family
or friends in a fun social setting.
