Why does God Forbid Homosexuality?

Today’s generation, a number of men desire to be women while some women desire to be men. Others invest on sex change while others on cross-dressing which is an abomination in the eyes of God ("A woman shall not wear an article proper to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman's dress; for anyone who does such things is an abomination to the LORD, your God – Deuteronomy 22:5), or both for those who could afford to maximize yearning. God must be experiencing a headache brought by this confusion.

Leviticus 18:22 You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; such a thing is an abomination.

Jude 7 Likewise, Sodom, Gomorrah, and the surrounding towns, which, in the same manner as they, indulged in sexual promiscuity and practiced unnatural vice, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.

Although I did not reach the point of altering sexual apparatus or dress up like a Cinderella, I was still guilty of homosexuality because my previous years had been engaged in same sex relationships.

It would be hypocritical saying that I did not enjoy it because it’s pleasurable in fact, but I had to stop it when I realized that disobeying God always produces negative result in the long run.

God forbids homosexuality not because of suppressing one’s freedom and happiness, but because He knows of its misery and unhappy destiny.

Homosexuals out there may argue like, “C’mon, you could say that because you experienced nightmare in here!” or others may say, “Like you, we also want to experience pleasure you’ve gone through so stay away!”

On the contrary, sexual desire is always present on one’s mind regardless of age as long as these senses on sexual gratification are still working on. The more we try to flee from it, the more we are haunted by it because this life is a battle between temptation which is the work of the evil spirit and test of our loyalty to God. No one can say that we are for God if our choices are in opposition of His will. However, this can be controlled if we'll allow God to conquer our being through His love. 

Why God forbids homosexuality? Is it just for the sake of the word “holiness” so to feel good when our peers call us “holy” or simply for our “own sake?”

Take a look at this. Accordingly, homosexuals die about 24 years younger therefore God must be true when He says, “The wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23) 

Sexual act of a homsexual can cause physical injuries which causes hemorrhoids and can lead to a a number of gastrointestinal infections, such as proctitis, enteritis, and proctocolitis; anal Cancer STDs. Compared to heterosexual, men who have sex with men (MSM) are at an increased risk of contracting a, including HIV/AIDS  number of dangerous STDs which include“urethritis, proctitis, pharyngitis, prostatitis, hepatitis A and B, syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia, herpes, genital warts and HIV infection; higher risk of contracting STDs that cause liver disease. 

Instability and promiscuity which are the typical characteristics of homosexual relationships are the factors that increase the incidence of serious and incurable sexually-transmitted diseases. 

As of 2011, there are 34 million people are living with HIV/AIDS and 1.7 million people died of AIDS-related illnesses worlwide, and pointed to same sex union as one of the culprit.

Simply put it, God disallows homosexuality simply because He loves seeing us to be happy all throughout our lives, that is.
