In 1985, the year when I was on my fourth high school at the Island of Biri Northern Samar (one of the many Islands in the Visayas Regions) it was St. Pope John Paul II who had the "Apostolic Succession".
Back then, from 1967 - my Eldest Brother, Rene Elutin Ecleo's year of birth and up to 1985, the only technology that we had was our AM Radio, tuned in to DZRH daily and nightly.
Nothing more, nothing less!
As a matter of fact, while in the absence of electricity (unlike at present) we had been dependent of our lamps (filled with kerosene - we call it "petrolyo" based on our Birianon Local Dialect.
And you know what? This Radio Station of DZRH could be travelled for one day and a half (although it could be travelled for only 30 minutes if by Airplane but unaffordable) by motorboat from the Island of Biri Northern Samar to Lavezares Northern Samar; then Jeepney going to Allen Northern Samar; then by ship going to Matnog, Sorsogon; then take a bus going to Pasay City bus terminal; then walk a bit going to the Jeepney terminal and travel going to the Radio Station of DZRH.
However, from Pasay City Bus Terminal, I can walk a bit up to the Dasmariñas Bus Terminal, so as to travel at least approximately one hour (depending on the traffic condition on the road) going to Emilio Aguinaldo Highway and drop infront of St. Dominic College and Hospital; then walk a bit going to the Jeepney terminal and travel for at least 30 minutes going to Molino Road and drop infront of Camella Lessandra, the location of my younger Brother's house, where the whole family resides, although from 9 siblings, these have been filtered into 3 individuals - my Mother, I and another younger brother.
