He is an American football defensive tackle for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League and was drafted by the Detroit Lions second overall in the 2010 NFL Draft

After five years with the Detroit Lions, the Miami Dolphins signed Suh to a six-year, $114.3 million contract in March. With a guaranteed $25 million signing bonus and $59.9 million, the defensive end is now the highest paid defensive player in NFL history. He set a record for personal fouls with nine in his first two years in the league, but the Dolphins are more interested in his sophisticated play and four Pro Bowl alternatives.

Fernando Alonso Diaz is a Spanish Formula One racing driver and a double World Champion who is currently racing for Mclaren-Honda. He started in karting at the age of 3.

He fastened another enormous take home pay when he negotiated a return to McLaren, where he raced during the 2007 season. The 2-year contract is worth more than $30 million yearly. The 2-time World Champion finished second in the F1 standings in 2012 and 2013, but plunged to sixth last year in his final year with Ferrari.

Gareth Frank Bale is a Welsh professional footballer who plays as a winger for Spanish club Real Madrid and the Wales national team.

After Real Madrid spent an enormous$118 million to get him from Tottenham in 2013, rumor is heating up that the Welshman is planning to move to the U.K. Wherever he may be, he's poised to continue a prominent match for sponsor Adidas, signing a six-year contract in 2014 worth an estimated $35 million. When not on the arena, he will be into commentary for BT Sport as part of a three-year contract.

Jonathan Tyler Lester is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Chicago Clubs of Major League Baseball. He formerly played with MLB for the Boston Red Sox from 2006 to 2014 and the Oakland Athletics in 2014.

His new $155 million contract with the Cubs consists of a $30 million signing bonus with half paid in April (the balance is settled in staggered basis between 2018 and 2020). He is expected to be a market leader with Chicago companies. Nike remains his biggest endorsement.

Derrick Martell Rose is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association.

He suited up for 51 games last season for the Chicago Bulls, which was his most since the 2010-2011 season. He has two seasons remaining on the 5-year, $95-million contract with the Bulls at the end of 2011. He is one of the NBA's top earners off the court in the course of his massive 13-year, $185 Adidas shoe endorsement in 2012.

21. Sebastian Vettel

Sebastian Vettel is a German racing driver, currently with  Formula One for Scuderia Ferrari. He is contracted to remain in that role until at least the end of 2017.

He accomplished an ultimate dream in the fall of 2014 when he signed a 3-year contract with Ferrari. The deal is one of the richest in the F1 and could pay out more than $40 million yearly, exclusive of bonuses if he performs. The German driver ruled the sport between 2010 and 2013, winning the World Championship every year.

22. Rafael Nadal

Rafael "Rafa" Nadal Parera is a Spanish professional tennis player currently ranked as world’s No. 8. He is widely regarded as one of the finest clay court players in history and has been titled "The King of Clay."  

He battled with injuries after a monster 2013 season, which dropped his prize money by $10 million to $4.5 million in the latest  one year. He was the World’s No. 1 player as of June 2014, but sits at No. 10 a year after. He signed two new endorsements with Tommy Hilfiger and Spanish communications giant Telefonica. His contract with Kia Motor was also renewed in May for five years with Nadal.

23. Mahendra Singh Dhoni

He is an Indian cricketer and the current captain of the Indian national cricket team Indian national cricket team in limited-over formats.

At the end of 2014, he retired from Test cricket, giving up his Indian national team captainship to fellow star Virat Kohli, but he retains as India's captain at the ODI and T20 levels. He is co-producing "M.S Dhoni: The Untold Story," a forthcoming biopic that has been delayed but has already funneled some $3 million into the Indian celebrity's pockets.
