Prayer for the Departed

Lord, Jesus, we pray incessantly for all the departed that they may reach Your kingdom through Your grace, love, compassion and mercy.  There are times that we forget to pray for them but their final destiny into Your bosom matters to us most because we love them as much as we love to see Your Most Holy Face at the appointed time, because after this life, we desire to embrace You, to hug You, to kiss You, to talk to You, to worship You, to sing on You, to live with You forever.

Thank you for this life that You allow us to enjoy, to nurture and to deepen through Your most holy will. We thank You not because of merits through good life’s achievements that we have earned but because of filling us in our paucity spiritually, emotionally, socially and financially.  Thank you Dearest Father!

Merciful Father, we don’t know if it’s going beyond our limits but we are still hoping through your unfathomable mercy, love and compassion, for the sake of those in purgatory, those who have ended their borrowed lives by their strength and will than lead a hopeful life despite the predicaments big or small, those who engage in abortion, same sex marriage, wars, terrorism, corruption, electronic fraud and different forms of violence, because as You have uttered on the Cross during the time that You ransomed us from our disobedient heart, perhaps, they know not what they do .

Loving God, may this supplication from your creations serves as a constant reminder that we pray earnestly for the souls around the world, that they may find peace in Your Most Holy Dwelling, indeed, Amen! This we ask in the Mighty Name of Jesus, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You forever, and ever, Amen! 

†You died Jesus but the source of life flowed out for souls and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world.  O, fountain of life, immeasurable Divine Mercy, cover the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us.  O, blood and water which flowed out from the heart of Jesus as a fountain of mercy for us, we trust in You.  Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and the whole world, Amen!  Jesus, King of Mercy, we trust in You!†
