10). Anna Nicole Smith


She was found dead in 2007 with a lethal dose of a drug concoction in her system.

The father of Smiths's daughter, Larry Birkhead, confirmed he witnessed the model abuse methadone before she passed away in 2007. 

11). Ben Affleck


He went to rehab in 2001 to battle with his drinking issues, but reportedly still combats with alcohol and gambling addictions.

12). Betty Ford


On her tenure as first lady from 1974 to 1977, she raised awareness for addiction and went public with her long-running fight with alcoholism. In 1978, she went into rehab after her family staged an intervention and, in 1982, she founded the famous Betty Ford Center for the treatment of chemical dependency.

13). Billie Holiday


Substance abuse cost her successful jazz career and, eventually, her life. She developed an addiction to alcohol and heroin after her mother’s death in 1945. She continued her addiction the rest of her life and died from alcohol and drug-related complications in 1959.

She was able to get her life together after receiving a proper bipolar diagnosis and successfully completing rehab after giving birth to her second child and stayed clean.

Charlie used to be a drug user who was reportedly spending $2,000 a day on cocaine according to the Daily Mail. He was arrested for marijuana possession on his mom’s birthday at age 16. However, he sought help and went to rehab and has been clean since then.
