Mayor Rodrigo Duterte: Yes, ma'am.

Karen Davila (Moderator): Yes or no, - if clarified – one moment please. Are you a good example to the youth?
Mayor Rodrigo Duterte: Yes. (1)
Karen Davila (Moderator): Assuming...
Mayor Rodrigo Duterte: I restored public order in my city and everybody is safe. (1)
Karen Davila (Moderator): What position in the cabinet would you give to a woman?
Mayor Rodrigo Duterte: Toursim and– well, if she is really bright finance, any position. (2)
Karen Davila (Moderator): Name your top campaign contributor. Sino siya?
Mayor Rodrigo Duterte: In the mountain Ma’am. (2)
2). Does it affirm that Jose Maria Sison who is a communist leader is his supporter.
Karen Davila (Moderator): May I know the name, sir?
Mayor Rodrigo Duterte: Emilio Aguinaldo, I think. (3)
Karen Davila (Moderator): You said, “You cannot be a President if you cannot kill.” Would you kill...
Mayor Rodrigo Duterte: Of course.
Karen Davila (Moderator): Davila: ...If you’re president?
Mayor Rodrigo Duterte: No, it's not the actual – you’re afraid to die, you’re afraid to kill, do not desire to be a president. (3)
Karen Davila (Moderator): What situation would drive you to declare Martial Law?
Mayor Rodrigo Duterte: Well, rebellion, lawless violence and the – well, rebellion and lawless violence. (4)
Karen Davila (Moderator): So Martial Law is possible in your administration?
Mayor Rodrigo Duterte: No, cannot be. Not anymore – our rebellion is not that widespread anymore. (5)
Karen Davila (Moderator): Would you allow former President Marcos’ burial in the Libingan Ng Mga Bayani (Heroes’ Cemetery}?
Mayor Rodrigo Duterte: Yes, definitely because it causes division in our country until now. Ilocanos are incensed why it is so. (4)
Karen Davila (Moderator): Enemies already...
Mayor Rodrigo Duterte: It’s already time to heal. (5)
Karen Davila (Moderator): Is America already our enemy when you become the President?
Mayor Rodrigo Duterte: They are the ones who go up against. It was a response to a question coming from media. It's a concocted hypothetical question and I was only replying to it. Then yes, if they like... (6)
Karen Davila (Moderator): All right. Illegal drugs are your enemies. What will you do if you’ll find out that one of your siblings is using illegal drugs?
Mayor Rodrigo Duterte: Kill him. (7)
Karen Davila (Moderator): Do you have a sibling who is chronic or using illegal...
Mayor Rodrigo Duterte: None.
Karen Davila (Moderator): drug?

Karen Davila (Moderator): All right. Thank you.

1). Optimum productivity (without corruption) is a good example but not the badmouthing, womanizing, and marriage separation.
3). Serious question demands serious answer. Emilio Aguinaldo has been in the grave so how could he be a supporter?
4). Filipinos have been divided not because of disallowing Marcos’ burial in the Libingan ng mga Bayani (Heroes’ Cemetry) but because of uncontrollable corruption and injustice in the Philippines.
5). Healing starts not from treating corruption and martial law as acts of heroism for the concernedl to be buried in the Libingan ng mga Bayani (Heroes’ Cemetery) but from transformation of government leaders from being corrupt to conscientious servant leadership.
It can be recalled he tells that the ambassadors of the US and Australia – two of the Philippines' closest allies – to 'shut their mouths' after they criticized his rape joke involving jailhouse rape of a missionary Australian missionary, and warned that he is prepared to cut diplomatic ties if elected as a president.[6]
7). Killing a son? Is this a rhetoric statement or purely serious? This is terrible. As a father, this is his immediate choice than sending him in a rehabilation center?
8). How can a father orders someone to kill his son who has been corrupted by the environmental influence particularly drugs, than taking him to a rehabilitation center?

Sen. Grace Poe: No one.
I’m the only one who’s elected. (1)
Tony Velasquez (Moderator): Mm hmm. Does it mean that the
renunciation of your husband’s American citizenship will also end?
Sen. Grace Poe: It has already been renounced. (2)
Tony Velasquez (Moderator): When did he renounce?
Sen. Grace Poe: I think it’s over a month ago. But he is
natural Filipino who was born…to Filipino parents. (3)
Tony Velasquez (Moderator): In fact…
Sen. Grace Poe: That is to remove doubt, but he is a
natural born. (4)
Tony Velasquez (Moderator): Just to clarify, did he return
his US passport?
Sen. Grace Poe: Yes. No...
Tony Velasquez (Moderator): None
Sen. Grace Poe: Whatever is stipulated in the law. (5)
Tony Velasquez (Moderator): Yes. Can Americans already assist in hounding Abu Sayyaf?
Sen. Grace Poe: Any
of our allies can help. (6)
Tony Velasquez (Moderator): Who will be your Defense
Secretary?
Sen. Grace Poe: I’ll mention that when our
country already give their trust.
Tony Velasquez (Moderator): Okay. What is the most
significant attitude of the Filipinos or worst attitude of the Filipinos that
you would like to transform?
Sen. Grace Poe: I
think the lack of – excessive forgiveness.
Sometimes this is not also good. (1)
Tony Velasquez (Moderator): So the next question is could
you already forgive and burry former president Marcos in the Libingan ng Mga Bayani (Heroes’
Cemetery)?
Sen. Grace Poe: Whatever is my opinion, what
can I say is that the law says that it cannot be,
RA 10368, which says, recognize those who sacrificed in his time. (7)
Tony Velasquez (Moderator): Should Gloria Arroyo go
through house arrest?
Sen. Grace Poe: I
will not block if the doctor allows her. (8)
Tony Velasquez (Moderator): would you approve new mining
contracts in your administration?
Sen. Grace Poe: We’ll
see if those mining companies that operate are following the laws and if the
community really need it. Why should we continue giving permit when there are
other jobs available? (9)
Tony Velasquez (Moderator): All right. Thank you very
much, Senator Grace.

1).
Excessive forgiveness can only be wrong if it ignores accountability. Everybody needs a second even if it demands
excessive forgiveness but should be held liable for any culpability.

Karen Davila (Moderator): Secretary Mar, this is Fast Talk.
If given the opportunity, would you give Bongbong
Marcos a cabinet position as your vice president?

Sec. Mar Roxas: Yes
of course if he wins. But I believe Leni Robredo will win. (1)
Karen Davila (Moderator): Is Aquino’s administration ineffective?
Sec. Mar Roxas: Pardon?
Karen Davila (Moderator): Yes or no?
Sec. Mar Roxas: Pardon?
Karen Davila (Moderator): Is Aquino’s administration ineefective in resolving planting of
ammunition scam?
Sec. Mar Roxas: No. They’re investigating and hold
responsible to those who are accountable. (2)
Karen Davila (Moderator): Are you capable of resolving the planting of ammunition scam, sir?
Sec. Mar Roxas: Yes, very simple. I will remove the scanners in front of the
airport becase there is already a scanner downstairs. There’s no need to scan – no airport around
the world that scans before you enter the airport. (1)
Karen Davila (Moderator): Enough...
Sec. Mar Roxas: All of the scanners are downstairs.
That’s why the scanning should be there
alone, without human intervention anymore. (3)
Karen Davila (Moderator): Secretary, did you have enough efforts when typhoon Yolanda hit? Yes
or no?
Sec. Mar Roxas: Yes. I did my best, I risked my life. (4)
Karen Davila (Moderator): Are you willing to allow new mines in the Philippines?
Sec. Mar Roxas: There is a law. We are all
aspiring to become President of the Philippines. Number one is to execute
the laws of the land. But these laws
should be anchored to our policies which is local acceptance and
environmental compliance. (5)
Karen Davila (Moderator): Is coal or carbon bad for the environment? Yes or no?
Sec. Mar Roxas: Dirty coal and dirty carbon are bad. But there are coal plants in
Finland,Germany, Sweden, at the heart of the city which is operated because
it is called clean coal. (2)
Karen Davila (Moderator): Does it mean that you’ll pursue the development of 23 suspended
coalplants in the Aquino Administration.
Sec. Mar Roxas: Simulatenous with is we’ll pursue the natural gas, to retain our
50-50 energy balance between clean, which is coal
(3) and oil, and natural gas on renewable and…..geothermal.
Karen Davila (Moderator): All right, time is up sir, it’s already two minutes. I still have more
questions supposedly.
Sec. Mar Roxas: You can email it, I’’ll answer them.

1). It’s not
actually the technology that is negligent but the operatives who are planting
ammunition to the passengers’ luggage. And until now the mastermind can’t be
established yet.
2). There's no such thing as clean coal. What comes out of the powerstation smoke stack
is only half the story. Coal's deadly impact stretches right back to the
start of the supply chain, where open cast coal mines cause widespread
respiratory ill-health, toxic tailings contaminate the water supply, and
labor and human rights abuses.
3). As taken
above.
